I use the vessels I make as a free space where I can playfully explore the relationship between form and surface decoration.

I hand build all my forms and like to layer slip, colour and texture across different clay bodies, playing with glazes, underglazes, stains and oxides. I love to include other mediums like leather cord, thread, grasses and in particular, mosaics.
